I've been teaching in Korea since 1991 and in this TESOL program since it began in the year 2000, I find Seoul a vibrant city to live in and Korean learners a pleasure to teach. I particularly love teaching in this TESOL program as it has afforded me the opportunity to work with so very many talented and creative people. I look forward to seeing you in class.

It's always a great pleasure to meet new students each semester. I enjoy sharing my knowledge, experience and thoughts with you in my class. The whole experience is great in the sense that my students and I share the same goal and are making efforts together to become better English teachers. I believe that the TESOL program at SKKU is the finest in the country, and I encourage my students to take pride in being part of such a special community. Before I meet you in the class, here's one quote I'd like to share with you: "The mediocre teacher tells, The good teacher explains, The superior teacher demonstrates, The great teacher INSPIRES.¡± I sincerely hope that the TESOL program of SKKU will help you become not only good instructors of English, but great teachers who can always inspire their students.
